Urodził się w Kijowie na Ukrainie. Studiował elektronikę, następnie reżyserię, produkcję i scenopisarstwo. Poszukując nowych środków ekspresji, w latach 70tych i 80tych zrealizował serię wideoteatrró. Pracował również w telewizji. Na festiwalu zaprezentował swój reżyserski debiut Rerberg i Tarkowski. Odwrotna strona Stalkera ( 2008r. ) Jest to część sześciogodzinnej opowieści o życiu i losie Georgija Rerberga.
Born in 1959 in Kiev, Ukraina. After graduating from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute, he studied directing at the Kiev State Institute of Theatrical Art. In the late 70s early 80s, he took part in the search for the new means of expression in art which fruited in the form of video-theatres. He worked for the television. Rerberg and Tarkovsky is his directing debut, a part of a planned six-hour-long film biography of Georgij Rerberg.
